Acer monoes, also named Acer truncatum, belongs to the Aceraceae family. It is a deciduous tree with a height of nearly 20m. It usually blooms in April and its fruits mature in September and October. It is not picky for land but the moist fertile soil is best for it. In autumn, its leaves turn bright yellow or red. It then changes color, anf a dozen of colors can be seen in one single tree such as dark red, bright red, light red, red orange, orange yellow, light green, dark green and so on. It is suitable for ornamental and tree shading purposes.
