Diospyros kaki, also named Persimmon, is in the family of Ebenaceae and Diospyros. It is a big-sized deciduous tree with a height of over 10 meters. It usually blooms in May and June and its fruits mature in September and October. It is native to China. It is not picky about what land it likes to grow on and it is widely used for improving ground coverage, the climate and people's living environment. Its deciduous leaves are medium to dark green, broadly lanceolate, stiff and equally as wide as they are long, providing shade in the summer.
