Sasa fortunei (Van Houtte) Fiori is native to Japan. The leaf blade is 5-9 cm long and 7–10 cm broad, with white villous on both sides, and is green with yellow or light yellow vertical stripes. The main growth occurs from May to June. The plant is cold-resistant and shade-tolerant and grows best in a warm, humid climate and sandy fertile soil. It is one of the good landscaping plants because it is simple to care for and has very few pests and diseases.
